America prove too strong for the Netherlands as they retain World Cup
The United States of America retained their Women’s World Cup title defeating the Netherlands 2-0 in the final. A Megan Rapinoe penalty and a strike from Rose Lavelle saw them become only the second nation to retain the trophy.
