Rodgers, 52, returned for a second spell at Celtic Park in 2023, winning successive titles however, the former Liverpool and Leicester City boss departs with the champions trailing Hearts by eight points after nine games of this season.

Juventus sack manager Igor Tudor

Juventus have sacked their head coach, Igor Tudor, after failing to win their last eight matches in all competitions, the Serie A club said on Monday. Tudor’s last game in charge was a 1-0 loss away to Lazio that leaves them eight in the Serie A standings. Massimo Brambilla, head coach of the reserve team, will temporarily take over as the first team manager with his first game coming at home to Udinese on Wednesday.

Leeds add to West Ham’s early season woes

Leeds claimed their first Premier League win at home since the opening day of the season to pile on the problems for dismal West Ham. The result lifted Daniel Farke’s men up to 13th in the table, while the visitors remain second bottom after a seventh loss in nine league games.
