Premier League clubs vote in principle to back spending cap

Premier League clubs have voted in favour of developing plans to introduce a spending cap. Sixteen clubs approved proposals for the Premier League to complete the final economic and legal analysis needed to create a spending-cap model. The model if voted through it would replace the current Profit and Sustainability Rules (PSR) from the 2025-26 season onwards.

Arsenal survive Spurs fightback to win North London derby

Premier League leaders Arsenal survived a second-half scare at Tottenham to hold on for a 3-2 north London derby victory that cemented their place at the top.
