Sergio Perez wins Sakhir Grand Prix following Mercedes meltdown
Sergio Perez claimed the first F1 win of his career for Racing Point at the 190th attempt in an astonishing Sakhir Grand Prix as a Mercedes tyre mix-up followed by a puncture cost George Russell a fairy-tale victory of his own in Bahrain. Renault’s Esteban Ocon also made his debut on the F1 podium with Perez’s teammate Lance Stroll third.
