Luka Modric scores a sublime goal to help Croatia to a 3-1 victory over Scotland in Group D of Euro 2020. Nikola Vlašić had given Croatia the lead by Scotland levelled before the break through Callum McGregor. Croatia rose to the challenge and took second spot in the group thanks to Modric and a header from Ivan Perišić.

A Raheem Sterling header secured a 1-0 win for England over the Czech Republic which sees them finish top of Group D. Their opponents started the game top of the group but finished third due to Croatia’s win in Scotland however the Czechs have qualified for the last 16 as a best third placed team.

An inspired performance from Denmark saw them dismantle Russia 4-1 to setup a last 16 tie with Wales at Euro 2020. Mikkel Damsgaard opened the scoring at a hopping Parken Stadium, when news of a Belgian goal arrived the stadium erupted as the Danes delivered a memorable performance.
