AC Milan have paid tribute to “unforgettable” former owner Silvio Berlusconi following his death at the age of 86 on Monday. Berlusconi bought his hometown club in 1986 and turned the struggling side into one of football’s most successful clubs. Under his leadership, Milan won five European Cups, as well as eight Italian league titles.

Manchester City win Champions League to complete historic treble

Radrizzani to sell Leeds to 49ers Enterprises

49ers Enterprises have agreed a deal to purchase Leeds, the club have confirmed. The American group – who own NFL franchise the San Francisco 49ers – already owned a 44 per cent stake in the club, but have now agreed to purchase the remaining 56 per cent from chairman Andrea Radrizzani’s Aser Ventures.

Liverpool sign Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton

Liverpool have completed a £35m deal to sign midfielder Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton on a five-year contract. The fee could rise to £55m for the Argentina playmaker, who helped Brighton finish sixth in the Premier League this season to qualify for Europe for the first time. The 24-year-old scored 20 goals in 112 appearances for the Seagulls and helped Argentina win the 2022 World Cup.
