Mohamed Salah scored a late equaliser as Liverpool came from behind twice to earn a point at title rivals Arsenal. Bukayo Saka had given the home side an early lead before Virgil Van Dijk headed Livepool level. Chris Wood scored a brace as Nottingham Forest moved up to fifth in the Premier League with a 3-1 victory over hosts Leicester City in the East Midlands derby on Friday, underlining their excellent start to the season. Ryan Yates gave Forest the lead before Jamie Vardy brought the Foxes level however Wood was on hand to earn Forest all three points.

Chelsea made it two wins from two in the UEFA Conference League as they beat Greek Super League side Panathinaikos 4-1. Enzo Maresca’s Blues shot to the top of the league phase table as a result, and they have now scored four goals or more in five games in all competitions so far this season. It was an emotional night in Athens as tributes were paid to the Greek side’s former defender George Baldock.
