Sebastian Vettel will drive for a Racing Point team rebranded as Aston Martin next season after completing a multi-year deal with the team.
The four-time world champion, deemed surplus to requirements by Ferrari, will head up the project. The announcement comes ahead of Ferrari’s 1,00th Grand Prix.
Sergio Perez has announced he will leave Racing Point after seven seasons at the end of the current 2020 campaign. The decision by the Mexican appears set to signify that four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel will take his place at the team next to Lance Stroll next season.

Renault’s Formula 1’s outfit will be renamed for the 2021 season and become known as the Alpine F1 Team. Alpine is the French manufacturer’s historic sportscar brand and was relaunched in 2017. It already features in the World Endurance Championship, but has never previously been used in F1.
