The legendary Republic of Ireland manager Jack Charlton has died aged 85. He guided the nation to Euro ’88, Italia ’90 and USA ’94 while as a player he won the World Cup with England in 1966.

Mugello and Sochi added to Formula 1 calendar
F1 has added a further two races to its revised 2020 calendar. Ferrari’s Mugello race track will host a second grand prix in Italy to mark the team’s 1000th race in the world championship. That will be held on the 13th of September, with Sochi then hosting the Russian GP later in the month.

Champions League draw throws up mouthwatering clashes
Manchester City have been handed a difficult path towards a potential Champions League final.
