Patrick Konrad soloed to glory in sodden Saint-Gaudens to win Stage 16 of the Tour de France on a day of attrition for Tadej Pogacar and his GC rivals. The Serbian world number one came into the final having won the Australian Open and French Open, and his victory over the Italian means the Grand Slam remains alive ahead of the US Open.
